Chose this accommodation because of the large bed. Such a comfortable night, slept solidly. Lovely hosts who took the time to chat to us and provide us with a tasty breakfast. 20 minute walk to both Windermere and Bowness where there is an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, especially Bowness. Such a lovely stay at Montfort cottage! Bed was super comfy, we wanted to take the bed home with us! Breakfast was gorgeous and Jane and Paul couldn’t do enough for us! Thank you so much for a lovely stay! - Katie M
It’s very peaceful and quiet, which makes for a truly relaxing stay. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious. I also find Jane and Paul to be very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it’s been a very good experience.It was my boyfriend’s birthday week, and Jane took special care by writing a note and wishing him a happy birthday, which was a very thoughtful and appreciated gesture. - Pratima Basnet
