Cottage
is a lovely, compact and bijou
guest house. A late 19th century Lakeland stone terrace
cottage, it has been sympathetically converted to provide Visit
England 4 star accredited accommodation and is ideal as a romantic
getaway for couples looking for comfortable and affordable bed &
breakfast accommodation in Windermere, the heart of the English
Lake District.
The guest house is
personally run by its owners, Sue & Paul Blackburn, and is the perfect
accommodation base from which to explore the stunning scenery and
natural beauty of the Lake District.
Situated in a quiet
residential area close to Baddeley Clock Tower, the midway point
between Windermere and Bowness, Montfort Cottage is just a 10
minute walk from either village and their abundance of shops,
restaurants and traditional pubs, and a short distance from
Lake Windermere itself.
Rooms at
Montfort Cottage Guest House
are available to reserve on either a Room Only or
Bed & Breakfast basis, giving guests a choice of
tariff to suit their requirements, with prices starting from just
£25 per person per night.
A
complimentary
continental breakfast in bed, comprising of croissants, pains au
chocolat, toast with butter & preserves and a glass of chilled
orange, apple or
cranberry
juice, is
provided when you book on a Room Only basis for a minimum of two
nights. Delivered to your room
at a time of your choice between
8.30am and 10am.
A full
cooked breakfast option, including a choice of starters, main
course, pot of freshly brewed tea or cafetière coffee and toast
with butter and margarine portions, and an assortment of fruit
jams and marmalade is available for an extra £5 per person and is
served every morning between
8.30am and 9.30am in our Breakfast
Room.
