A late 19th century Lakeland stone terrace cottage, it has been sympathetically converted to provide 4 star guest accommodation and is ideal as a romantic getaway for couples looking for comfortable and affordable bed & breakfast accommodation in Windermere, the heart of the English Lake District.

The guest house is personally run by its owner, Leigh Giles, and is the perfect accommodation base from which to explore the stunning scenery and natural beauty of the Lake District.

Situated in a quiet residential area close to Baddeley Clock Tower, the midway point between Windermere and Bowness, Montfort Cottage is just a 10 minute walk from either village and their abundance of shops, restaurants and traditional pubs,  and a short distance from Lake Windermere itself.

Rooms at Montfort Cottage Guest House are available to reserve on either a Room Only or Bed & Breakfast basis, giving guests a choice of tariff to suit their requirements, with prices starting from just £25 per person per night.

A complimentary continental breakfast in bed, comprising of croissant, pain-au-chocolat, toast with butter & preserves and a glass of chilled orange, apple or cranberry juice, is provided when you book on a Room Only basis for a minimum of two nights.

Senior Citizen (over 65) Discount - save £1.25 per person per day on the standard daily tariff for all guests over the age of 65. Available now - just quote OAP when reserving your room!

Our Winter Daily Rates are available from now until Saturday 31st March 2012. Just deduct £2.50pppn from the standard daily rates.
